Hasbro Children’s Hospital x Dunkin’

Client: hasbro Children’s hospital

I may live in California now, but I’ve got quite a few Dunkin’ projects under my belt - and my East Coast heart warms every time I get to add another!

When Dunkin’ reached out to me to design two vinyl murals for the Dunkin’ suite at Hasbro Children’s Hospital (HCH), I jumped at the chance to go to Rhode Island in the summer (if you haven’t been, you must). Besides that, though, I loved the idea of being able to add some life and positivity into a space where a lot of tough conversations are had. The Dunkin’ suite at HCH is meant for family and friends to be able to gather and take a coffee break, and prior to adding a mural it needed a massive upgrade.

I worked with the Dunkin’ team to create some vinyls with the goal of brightening up the space - without the being too pink and orange, or feeling too Dunkin’-y. The team wanted to pull in nautical imagery and Rhode Island landmarks, and it all had to be cohesive with the new furniture and tiles they were going to debut in early Summer 2024.

Needless to say, it was a such a fun challenge to create a design that felt positive and respectful while staying true to the Dunkin’ brand, and I LOVE how the room turned out. My favorite part has to be the neon sign that says Hasbro Children’s Runs On Dunkin’…. don’t we all!
