'Let's Go Padres' Outdoor Opening Day Mural

The San Diego Padres hired us to create a special installation for their 2018 Opening Day Event. We constructed custom freestanding wood panels that would serve as a moveable mural within Petco Park. The Padres wanted something special and unique to celebrate the team, so we created a collage design with playful words and phrases that have to do with baseball and the team.

We painted 70% of the mural in our office in Sorrento Valley, and then transported the mural to Petco Park via a flatbed truck. We finished the mural live at the Opening Day party and we have to say… it was a home run! 

The team loved the mural so much that it became a permanent installation at the stadium for the rest of the season. Like our other murals, it served as the perfect photo backdrop! We were tagged in many photos on both Instagram and Facebook, so it was really wonderful to see people celebrating our artwork!
